Supporting junior researchers

One of the central concerns at ZIB is providing support for junior researchers. We see ourselves as a contact point for scientists from various disciplines. In regular junior researchers' academies and workshops, we provide concentrated methodological and specialist support.

About our programmes

47 Percent of students in Germany report that they can easily assess the quality of data they find on the internet.

Data of the month

A special analysis of the PISA 2022 study shows that while young people in Germany feel confident when it comes to searching for information online, they are significantly less confident when it comes to critically evaluating its quality. Less than half of young people feel confident in their ability to do so.
