Programm

The sixth ZIB Academy, focusing on "Research Syntheses in Educational Research," was hosted by ZIB (Technical University of Munich) from March 23 to 26, 2021.

Due to the unpredictable pandemic situation, the ZIB Academy was held as a video conference via Zoom.

Participants received comprehensive insights into the methodology and perspectives of research syntheses in educational research through keynotes and workshops. Prof. Dr. Larry Hedges (Northwestern University), Prof. Dr. Andreas Gegenfurtner (University of Passau), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Viechtbauer (Maastricht University), and Dr. Susanne Bücker (University of Bochum) provided current and practical insights into the topic, covering everything from topic selection to statistical analysis, publication, and practical relevance.
