Program

The eighth ZIB Academy, focusing on "Causal Inference and Machine Learning," took place from September 2 to 5, 2024, at the IPN in Kiel. The event covered concepts, issues, and methods at the intersection of both fields. It was primarily aimed at early-career researchers in psychology, educational sciences, and statistics/mathematics who are working in or interested in educational research. The participants were provided with a solid understanding of estimating causal effects.
