PISA
The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) measures and compares student performance worldwide.
Every three years, as part of a large-scale survey, PISA assesses the competencies of fifteen-year-olds in science, reading, and mathematics. Each cycle focuses on one of these three competency areas, referred to as the major domain.
The PISA study is initiated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD➚), with the ZIB being responsible for the national project management of PISA in Germany since 2010. It is funded by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK➚).
